Disassembleid, cleaned, inspected and adjusted moving components like the relief valve, laps in the housing setting the end clearance to .004 and laps the cover plate to assure flatness.
Oils and reassembles the pump. If the pump housings are out of spec, i.e. the rotor cavity, (which a number of them are) they rejects the pumps and sends them back.
Pump housing or gerotor assembly hand lapped to achieve .0025 - .003 end clearance
