Important information about our fuel sensor units Since the fuel sending unit may be laying on the shelf for some time the resistor in the unit can oxidize. In order to fix this matter the float shall be moved up and down 5-10 times before the sender is mounted into the fuel tank.Fits for the following models:Volvo 240 Years 1978-93Volvo 260 Years 1977-82If your Volvo suffers from hard starting conditions or does not run properly when the gas tank is one half empty, you need one of these. To replace this, you do not have to remove the gas tank from your car.It can be done through the trunk of your car, where you will find a galvanized plate that is secured by 4 screws.Remove the plate and there is your fuel sender.
