These 3-Y headers mimic the traditional 3-Y design in appearance, with subtle changes to improve fit and performance. The 16 gauge tubes are CNC mandrel-bent, then carefully installed in our precision-designed welding jig for perfect fit and precision-welded by a master. Provides full articulation of the steering unit without interference.Note: Power steering cars require Drop Down mounts (see below). Cars with the larger bellhousing for the 164-tooth flywheel may need the head to be recessed and possibly a minimal amount of material removed from the bellhousing as well for proper clearance. The collector tubes are shortened to improve clearance from the floor pan. All headers include extra-thick 5/16" flanges to prevent twisting, precision-machined. Metal composite flange gaskets, 1" primary, 1" secondary, and 2½" collector. Includes reducer cones tapering to 2" with gaskets and all necessary mounting hardware. 304 stainless steel (polished stainless construction), including 5/16" mounting flange.Made by Scott Drake.
