THE VP DAY 2023 - Open House at VP Autoparts

We would like to say a big thank you to all of our fantastic customers who came and visited us during the first edition of the VP day. It was a really successful day with around 450 visitors and 90 fine classic Volvos, shining in the sunshine. Several guests had traveled long distances to get to us, which of course was great to see. The prize for the longest journey went to a customer from Stockholm who traveled a full 41 miles one way in his PV. Hats off to him!

Another PV driver who was awarded was the owner of the car below, a well-maintained 444 from 1950. It was named the finest car of the day by the Bilweb Auctions jury. We probably wouldn't have been able to choose one of all the wonderful cars ourselves, so it was lucky that we had the experts from Bilweb Auctions on hand. It was easier to hand out the prizes for the quiz walk, and some knowledgeable Volvo fans got to go home with magazine subscriptions, camping chairs, and gift cards from us.

In addition to looking at beautiful cars and having nice conversations with our customers, we also had the opportunity to show off our production department, which we are very proud of. It was incredibly fun to see the interest shown for the tour and hopefully those who went also got to see the love and craftsmanship behind each product that we make.

We also want to take the opportunity to thank our partners who were on site during the day. Bilsport Classic, Förgasar Dan and Bilweb Auctions contributed to many interesting conversations. Also, the lovely guys behind the Youtube channel "Boråsarna" were there with some of their cars. You can see the day through their camera here.

Once again, a big thank you to those of you who were here with your nice cars as well as other visitors who made the VP day a day we won't forget. Our ambition is for this to become a recurring event and we hope to see you here again next time!
